The original ring pendant is custom-made in Karen silver, and is attached and detached with a hook. I tried to keep it simple while keeping the native feel, and to enhance the presence of the ring and hook. It is made of a material that can be used in both shower and ocean water, so you can leave it on all day long to enjoy summer activities. Waxed cord is made of polyester fiber that is soaked in wax and spun to make it tougher than normal. This is a high purity silver. The purity of Karen silver is about 95-99.9%, compared to 92% for ordinary silver jewelry.
Wax is soaked into the polyester fibres and spun to make the normally tough cords tougher and give them a great texture with use.
You can leave it on all day! It is also water resistant and will not fade or bleed through sweat or rain.
