The anklet is made from strong, water-resistant wax cord that can be worn all day long, and each piece is handmade with unique Karen silver beads. A tough, water-resistant waxed cord that’s ready to wear all day long Waxed polyester fibres are spun to make this normally strong cord even tougher. This makes the cord even tougher and gives it a nice texture. It’s not sticky and can be worn in the shower, bath, pool or sea. The fabric is also water resistant and will not fade or bleed when exposed to sweat or rain, making it an ideal material for surfers’ accessories. Karen Silver Karen Silver is handcrafted by a small group of mountain tribes in Myanmar and Northern Thailand. Each piece is individually handcrafted and therefore has its own unique look. The warmth and character of Karen Silver is one of its unique characteristics. A delicate Karen silver bead is used as an accent. The clasp is also made of Karen silver and features a finely patterned charm. The I and O combination makes it easy to wear.
