A four-eyelet plain toe in high-shine (mirror-finish) leather with traditional Goodyear welt construction. These shoes are made by historic SOLOVAIR craftsmen. The classic design is combined with an air rubber sole for comfort. The basic shape of this comfort shoe makes it suitable for both casual and business use. The brand’s characteristic air sole is very soft and does not cause fatigue even when walking for long periods of time. “Handmade by hand” SOLOVAIR is widely known for its Goodyear welt method, and the brand started in 1959 when the first air cushioned sole was developed in England. The name of the brand is also derived from the sole and is SOLOVAIR from SOLE-OF-AIR. The brand was licensed with the famous Dr. Martens in Japan, and continued to be sold for 35 years as Dr. Martens by Solovair. In 1995, Solovair was granted a patent and today, with over 130 years of traditional craftsmanship combined with the latest technology, raw materials and machinery, we are still producing high quality handmade British shoes. ■Functional Air Cushion Sole The sole is made from the brand’s signature Air sole.
