A denim shirt with a vintage feel and stylishly modified length and silhouette, while keeping the details of an authentic western shirt. The fabric is 8oz denim woven on an old-style shuttle loom with khaki threads in the warp to give the denim depth. Denim.
The fabric is woven on an 8oz denim using an old shuttle weaving machine.
We don’t use machines or chemicals to bleach or wash our denim, but rather we use hand rubbing to remove the colour.
Because it is all done by hand, the indigo remains deep in the fabric and the shades are clearly visible. When the fabric is washed, the indigo is removed evenly from the deepest part of the fabric, and the colour is not as deep as this. What is Gymphae Cotton?
The yarn we use is “Jinpabu Ecotton”, a rare type of extra-long cotton, rope-dyed in indigo. It is the highest quality organic cotton, harvested one by one by hand without the use of pesticides at an altitude of 1500m in southeast Africa.
The cotton yields a fine, strong, even yarn, supple and durable.
Modern silhouette
The length is short, the width and arms are wide, and the fit is relaxed. The length is short and the overall shape, including the body and arms, is tight and stylish.
The silhouette is sleek and clean, without being overbearing.
Faithful reproduction of authentic details
