Socks carefully knitted by skilled craftsmen
ROTOTO socks are made in Koryo-cho, Nara Prefecture, which boasts the largest production of socks in Japan. Since even minor factors such as the daily climate can change the quality during the manufacturing process, fine adjustments are necessary on a daily basis, and skilled craftsmen maintain stable quality.
The resulting socks are made with ease of movement, cushioning, and strength, making them a pair that you will love for a long time.
Special two-layer construction
Using a special knitting machine, of which there are only a few in Japan, these socks have a “two-layer construction” in which the front and back sides are knitted with different yarns. The outer layer is made of durable and highly moisture absorbent “organic cotton,” while the inner layer, which is in direct contact with the skin, is made of luxurious “silk. The pile-like weave on the back provides high cushioning and breathability to prevent dampness.
Using a high-grade material, silk
Silk is formed from proteins close to human skin, is pleasant to the touch, and has excellent moisture absorption and desorption properties.
