A cut-and-sew brand established in 2007. From the selection of the raw material “cotton” to the “yarn, fabric, and sewing,” they carry out thorough in-house development. Additionally, they focus on Japanese manufacturing and are dedicated to nurturing future craftsmen at their own factory.
Gentle, Breezy Comfort
FilMelange uses custom yarn spun from carefully selected extra-long staple cotton, chosen after extensive testing.
This fabric is made by one of the top knitters in Wakayama, a region known for its circular knitting, using a special knitting machine exclusive to the brand.
The fabric is characterized by a silky feel with minimal fuzziness, and a beautiful luster that is unusual for cotton. To match the high-quality material with casual items, they intentionally leave a slight irregular texture through blending.
